1. Install GenMagic from Kit's App Store
In Kit, open the App Store, find GenMagic and click Install.2. Sign in to GenMagic and allow the connection
Kit sends you to GenMagic. Sign in, or create a free account, then click Allow. Kit receives a key named "Kit connector", which it uses to make and list your images.3. Describe an image in an email
In an email, add an image (the + button or typing /), open the media gallery and choose GenMagic. Type what you want, pick a style if you like, and pick the image to place it in your email.
Pick the model by what the image needs
- Default: GenMagic's everyday image model, good for most email headers and illustrations.
- Fast: A quicker, cheaper model for drafts and simple graphics.
- Lettering: A model that spells words well, for headers with a title or a short line of text.
- Photographic: A model for realistic photo-style images.
Want a specific model? The model list has every one with its price, and the GenMagic studio can use any of them.
About GenMagic in Kit
What does an image cost?
Each new image is charged to your GenMagic balance at the price of the model that makes it, usually a few cents; every model's price is on genmagic.co/models. New GenMagic accounts get $0.50 of free credit when they verify their email. Your earlier images cost nothing to reuse.
Does it make a new image every time I open the gallery?
No. It makes one only when you type a description and run it. If you open the same description again within ten minutes, the image you already made is shown instead of a new one.
Which images do I see?
The image you just described, then the images you made with GenMagic before, newest first, from the studio, the API or Kit. Only you see them.
How do I disconnect?
Uninstall GenMagic in Kit's App Store, or revoke the key named "Kit connector" on your GenMagic account page. Either one ends the connection at once.
What if my balance runs out?
The gallery says so and still shows your earlier images. Top up from $5 or pick a monthly plan, then describe the image again.
