1. Add the app
Open the install link and choose a server you manage, or add it to your own account to use it anywhere apps are allowed.2. Run /image or /video
The first time, GenMagic answers only you with a Link button. Sign in to GenMagic (or create a free account), click Allow, and you are linked.3. Make things together
Run the command again: the result is posted in the channel for everyone, and each member pays for their own generations.
What you can type
- /image prompt: Makes an image and posts it in the channel. Optional: model, shape (square, portrait, landscape) and a reference image to transform or follow.
- /video prompt: Makes a clip and posts it in the channel. Optional: model, length, shape, sound, and an image the clip starts from.
- /help: What the app does and how to start, only to you.
- /balance: Shows your GenMagic balance, only to you.
- /link and /unlink: Connect or disconnect your GenMagic account, only you see the answer.
Every model's price is on the models page, and the same balance works in the GenMagic studio, the API and the n8n node.
About GenMagic in Discord
Who pays for a generation?
The person who runs the command, from their own GenMagic balance, at the price the model lists (images usually cost a few cents, video is priced per second). Adding the app to a server costs the server nothing. New GenMagic accounts get $0.50 of free credit when they verify their email, and top-ups start at $5.
Who sees what I make?
Everyone in the channel: results are posted where the command was run, with the prompt. Your balance and the /link, /unlink and /balance answers are shown only to you.
What does linking give the app?
When you click Allow, GenMagic creates a key named "Discord connector" on your account. The app keeps it sealed with your Discord user id and uses it only for your own commands. Revoke that key on your account page, or run /unlink, to disconnect at once.
Which models can I use?
13 image models and 13 video models are in the command menus, among them Nano Banana, GPT Image, FLUX, Seedream, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance, Wan and Hailuo. Leave the model out and GenMagic picks a good default. The full list with prices is on the models page.
Can I use it outside servers that added it?
Yes. Add it to your own account (Discord offers this when you open the install link) and the commands work in any server or DM that allows apps.
What if my balance runs out?
The command tells you privately, with a link to top up or pick a monthly plan, and nothing is posted. A clip that fails to render is not charged.
